The Bible is God’s written Word. It is without error. It is the only source and norm of absolute truth and all that we believe and teach.
The only true God is the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons in one divine being (Holy Trinity).
God created all living things, both plant and animal, by His Word alone, from nothing. He created humanity specially, from dust, then gave us His own breath as life. He created all things in six days.
God has promised never to leave us and continues to sustain all things by His wisdom and power. He causes all of creation to help provide for the benefits and necessities of life.
Man is a physical and spiritual being who is created in God's image. But because of his sin or transgression, man lost his fellowship with God.
Jesus Christ is our Savior through His suffering, death, and resurrection. He is true God and true man (fully God and fully man at the same time). He voluntarily humbled Himself in order to redeem us from our sin. Through faith in Him and Him alone, which is a gift of God’s Grace, we have forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life.
God grants us His Grace, the forgiveness of sins, through The Gospel, and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
God wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth and believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again for them.
Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and will one day physically return. On that day, which could be at any time, the dead will rise, and those who are living will be caught up in the air. At that time there will be the final judgment.
The Holy Spirit brings us to faith, so that we might have the blessings of redemption and enables us to live godly lives. By faith, He works renewal in our lives so that now we strive not to have sin as part of our lives and to do good works.
Good works are everything that a Christian does, speaks, or thinks, in faith according to all that God has commanded for the glory of God, and for the benefit of his or her neighbor.
The Christian Church is the total number of those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
